Our style is simply to allow the food to do the talking. Good fresh ingredients; many sourced locally, allied to sound cooking techniques give delicious classic dishes with a modern twist. The superb quality of the food has not gone unnoticed, with the Hotel consecutively holding an AA rosette award for the past twenty years.

Opened in Spring 2021 we are delighted to introduce The Melville – our exciting new casual eating and dining area and wine bar.   Serving a café menu with light brasserie style dishes, and daily changing specials, all with locally sourced produce and ingredients – this will be a foodie heaven.  From breakfast to lunch through to evening meals.

Whilst our Brasserie restaurant in the Hotel has recently been restyled by Fiona Denholm Interiors into The Garden Room offering an airy, light, smart, yet relaxed dining space.   Our Head Chef Iain Macdonald has great plans and ambitions to develop The Garden Room’s menus with fine dining specialties which will eventually form the basis of his tasting menus for the eagerly awaited new fine dining restaurant at the Hotel – due to launch in Spring 2022.

As we are a small hotel our staff are drawn locally from Comrie itself which lends a genuine scottish ambience to the atmosphere. During the summer, the walled garden with its al fresco tables makes the perfect place for Pimms and a light salad, and once again this summer we were delighted to welcome back the Giant Tipi garden.    Whilst during Winter the glorious crackling log fire in the cosy Lounge Bar and the aroma of mulled wine offer a perfect respite after walking in the glens on a crisp frosty day.
